We had so much fun last time, we had to do it again. It has only been a few weeks, but we decided to meet again on June 9th, 2002. ![]() The Issaquah Starbucks seems to be our home base. We decided to meet again at the same place at the same time, Sunday morning at 8 AM. This time we decided to line up right outside of the store. Every time that a parking spot opened up, wed park one more BMW there. Pretty soon, we had the whole row filled up. ![]() They sure look great lined up nose to nose! ![]() Once again, bringing up the end of the row was Dons slick looking (and fast) 850i. ![]() Before long, a barista even came out to offer us samples of their latest drinks. ![]() The party was not to last, the local police department showed up with lights flashing. ![]() It seems that we had failed to get a public assembly permit. ![]() It appeared that some quick negotiation would be in order. ![]() Just kidding! ;-) We actually flagged the officer down because we wanted to chat and take pictures of his patrol car parked next to ours. The officer kindly obliged. In fact, had just washed the car, so he seemed well prepared. ![]() The officer chatted for a while and admired our cars. Before long he was sent on an emergency call, which happened to be at one of the other stores in the mall. ![]() Here we are posing for a group photo. Bobby, Don, Hien, Dave, Michael, Mark and Matthew. ![]() For a better view, we all popped the hoods. ![]() A quick look... ![]() ...turned into a great opportunity to check out each others cars and share information. ![]() Here is a sight that you dont see every day! ![]() Some individual pictures; Mark... ![]() Matthew ![]() Michael ![]() Bobby ![]() ![]() Don and Bobby. ![]() Another group photo: Mark, Don, Hien, Bobby (behind), Dave, Michael and Matthew (in front). ![]() After a couple of hours, it was time to take off in our caravan across town for some lunch. ![]() This was a common sight, everyone had their cameras sticking out windows and sunroofs, snapping pictures all the way there. I wont mention who, but one of us saw flashing lights in the rear view mirror and thought the worst. He was quite relieved to find that it was only camera flashes and not the other kind. ![]() It was quite a sight seeing all those beautiful 7s lined up in a row. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry about the glare from the dash. At least it was a gorgeous day. ![]() ![]() ![]() Here we are, lined up at the restaurant. ![]() ![]() ![]() Look, another visitor? Not this time. He was just passing through. This officer apparently didnt wash his car and didnt want to be photographed. ![]() With lunch over, we called it a day and hit the road once again. Most of us had previous obligations, so we decided not to take an extended toad trip like we did last time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On the way to the freeway, we attracted quite a crowd. ![]() Perhaps some of the other cars were not there just to watch us. There were a lot of people out enjoying the beautiful weather. ![]() Once again, we hit the freeway and give it some gas. ![]() |
