A. No. Membership is free.


Q. If I become a member, do I have to attend all meets and functions?

A. No. Attendance to meetings and functions is totally optional.


Q. Can I bring family to Seattle5 events?

A. Yes. Feel free to bring family to any events.


Q. If I have another BMW that is not an E39, can I bring it to Seattle5 events as well?

A. Yes. Feel free to bring additional BMWs to events regardless of year or model.

Q. What is an E39?

A. An E39 is a 5 series BMW with a production year between 1996 and 2003. The model numbers include 525, 528, 530, 535, 540, and M5.


Q. Why is 1997 often refered to as the first year of the E39?

A. The first year of the E39 was actually 1996, however, the 5 series was not sold in the US until 1997. The E39 was sold in Europe in 96', however, in the US there was no 5 series (E39 or E34) in 96'.
